Baby Room

Our self contained baby room provides a safe and secure area for your baby to enjoy the highest possible standards of care in a warm and welcoming environment. It is designed to support individual development, which during this special time progresses at an amazing rate.

The stimulating toys and interactive displays promote your baby’s sensory development and the concept of learning through play. The activities your baby will enjoy are specifically chosen to encourage their developing awareness of the environment around them and their enjoyment of it. Water and messy play, songs and action rhymes, musical toys and sensory time are typical of the daily activities enjoyed in the baby room.

Your baby’s social and emotional welfare is of huge importance to us and we try to foster a 'homely' atmosphere where the children feel valued. In this age group the lowest staffing ratio will be 1 member of staff to 3 children and with our aim of mirroring home routines, babies sleep according to their individual care plan, many opportunities arise for the children to enjoy 1:1 interactive play with their carers. We welcome children’s favourite comfort items and your child will be assigned a key worker who will make every effort to give individual attention to promote feelings of comfort and security.
