As you may know or have read about (click here if not) here at Priesthills we support the incredible charity 'A Gift To Lift'. Throughout the year we hold many events and fundraisers to raise money for the charity and last august our Toddler room team member Claire took it upon herself and friends of Priesthills to raise money by cycling 109.9 miles from hinckley to Skegness! They raised almost £1000 for charity and made us all very proud.
They enjoyed it so much they decided to do another bike ride this year, read about that in the 'Hinckley to Brighton' Blog...
On the 27th of August 2016 , Claire once again took part in a triumphant charity bike ride from Hinckley to Brighton. Cycling with a group of friends of the nursery they achieved their goal of biking the 170 miles in just two days! Take a look at the video here: https://quik.gopro.com/v/Zq6d9OYCfZ/
Leaving on the 27th, stopping at Heathrow Travelodge for the night then continuing their journey to Brighton Pier to be greeted by friends and family.
Beating their target they raised an amazing £2,105 for a Gift to Lift. (http://agifttolift.com/)
